Selling skills training

Although this course is called "Skills with People" training rather than "Selling skills training" the underlying principles and skills it teaches are totally relevant for sales people (see Skills with People course content).  One of the problems, we feel, with a great deal of sales training is that it teaches a fundamentally manipulative approach to selling in which the salesman is encouraged to try to control the conversation.  This, we believe, hampers many sales people and gets them into insensitive habits.

Our approach to selling skills training, in contrast, is built on the skills of emotional intelligence.  With these skills it’s possible to be both frank and attentive, to be very focused on achieving your own goal but at the same time sensitive and responsive to the customer’s reactions, to be much more flexible and less controlling.  This selling skills training course will teach you an approach to selling that’s more connected, more effective and more fun.  (See also Sales training).
