August 2008 Worldwide Despatch/Shipping Dates

August 2008 despatch dates for all UK and worldwide orders will be: Monday 4th, Thursday 7th, Monday 11th, Thursday 14th, Monday 18th, Thursday 21st, Monday 25th and Thursday 28th August 2008, unless otherwise notified. Please note: UK orders arrive 1- 2 working days after despatch, Europe 3 - 7 days and USA and rest of world 7 - 10 business days after despatch. Individual confirmation of despatch date is emailed to customers Mon-Fri - this is not an automated reply, as we prefer to email customers personally to confirm exact despatch dates and any other relevant information specific to your order. Please note: Orders received before 12pm UK time on day of despatch will go out that day, orders received after that time will go out in the next despatch.

Motif has been established to showcase and sell the range of exciting up to date stencils from the designer and author Henny Donovan. Henny's reputation as the most contemporary stencil designer has grown rapidly - "one of the most fashionable collections around is Motif" - says the Mail on Sunday. Henny's innovation in stencil design has done much to dispell the bad rep of 80's stencils, and her break-through signature range of oversize designs has brought the decorative possibilities of stencilling firmly into 21st century living and design.  The Motif website is the only outlet to purchase Henny's original stencils, own brand paints, gilding materials and useful equipment - as well as Henny's books. Stencil Range

The Henny Donovan Motif range of designer stencils is unique to this website - designed and produced by Henny Donovan. Henny's stencil designs are based on closely observed, original drawings, or historical archives. The stencils are divided into four categories - Large Stencils, Single & Repeat Stencils, Theme Packs and Border & Floor Stencils - to view all of Henny's stencils scroll down to the picture gallery below and click on a stencil of your choice for more information and to purchase. All of our stencils are pre-cut - precision cut by laser on high quality mylar (125 micron, semi-transparent polyester film) for durability. Suitable for repeated usage and gentle washing. Every stencil is supplied with usage instructions to help get you started. Each stencil design has its own page on this site, with fantastically inspiring photographs/graphics and full description, so you'll not only see how the design works and get some decorating ideas too! You will also find approximate measurements (up to .5 of a centimetre and 1/4 of an inch) in the Specifications section for each stencil to help with your planning.

Overseas Orders

All prices throughout this website are in pounds sterling (£), this includes all total prices given in the shopping cart. Currency Converter links are provided on all stencil and shopping cart pages, so you can convert prices as required. Simply click on the link, enter the pounds sterling £ amount, choose the country and currency and the conversion will be given (check the converter is set to UK pounds £ not Euros).  The Shopping Cart also calculates shipping costs for your worldwide destination. Delivery of items overseas after despatch, normally takes between 7 - 10 business days for the USA, Canada, Australia and Far East, 3 - 7 business days for Europe. On receipt of order all customers are emailed with their individual despatch date.

Postage & Packaging/Shipping

The minimum rate for UK postage on all small orders is £1.50 for the smallest weight category. Small stencils are packaged in firm backed envelopes. All other stencil designs are packaged in robust and attractive silver tubes, making our stencils an attractive gift option. Larger orders of paints, equipment and books are individually packed for safe and best transportation to all destinations.
